La envoltura dela Tora es diferente en diversois paezes komo la tradisyon lokala. En el Rhineland por eshemplo (almanya, alzas, svisera) la yaman “Wimpel” ke es fecho del teshido por enfashar los bebes en sus brit mila. En otras komunidades es fecho de otro teshido is lo yaman, mapa, avnet o fascia. En syertas komunidades komo las Sefardias i las Romaniotas teshidos rituales por la Tora eran konosidos kon un termine jeneral – “Mapot”; por esto, de vezes es difisil entender si se avla por el envoltimento, el tenedor, o el masero.
